Insurance Claims Process
At Apex Roofing we specialize in insurance claims and storm damage restoration. If you feel you may have damage from a hail or wind storm call us first. We will send one of our qualified representatives to evaluate the situation at no cost to you.
A detailed inspection will be performed allowing us to make a determination regarding whether or not you should file a claim with your insurance provider.
If enough storm related damage is found you will be advised to complete the following process:
- Call & notify your insurance company of the damage to your property. Make sure you have your policy number available before you call the insurance claim center. Be ready to provide information regarding your specific type of loss as well as the loss date to the insurance company representative.
- Tell your insurance company that you would like your contractor present at the time of inspection. They may say this is not necessary; however, it is your right to have us there to negotiate damages on your behalf.
- They will provide you or call you back with the claim number, adjuster name and adjuster phone number. Be sure to record all of this information when given.
- When the adjuster or insurance representative calls you to set up an inspection please ask them to contact your Apex project manager directly. This ensures that we can be present during the assessment of your claim. If the adjuster prefers to schedule directly with you please call your project manager as soon as possible and notify them of the date & time of the adjustment.
